I recommend updating the network adapter driver and restarting the system for the best results. Use Advanced Driver Updater, driver updating tool for Windows Pc.

It helps me a lot.

Dear Rukia,

Thank you for writing to us.

There are a number of reasons why you might not be able to network on the list of available networks.

1. Your wireless hardware could be turned off, or it may not be working properly. Make sure it is turned on.

2. You could be out of range of the network. Try moving closer to the wireless base station/router and see if the network appears.

If this doesn’t help reset network.

1. Reset Network

Go to Settings > Network & Internet. Here, you will see the Network reset option in the right pane. Reset it and see if it helps.

2. Disable the Radio Management Service.

Press Windows R to open Run window.

Type services.msc and press the Enter key.

Look for the Radio Management Service in the list.

Right-click on it and select Properties. You will find Startup type under the General tab set to Manual by default. Change this to Disabled.

Restart the PC and see if it helps.

3. Change Your Wi-Fi Adapter’s Power Management Settings

Open Device Manager by pressing Win + X and choosing Device Manager from the menu.

In the list of devices, look for Network adapters. Double click to expand the list.
Look for your wireless adapter in the expanded list, right-click on it, and click on Properties.
Go to the Power Management tab from the top.
You will see that the box next to Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power is checked by default. Uncheck the box and press OK.
Reboot your system and see if this resolves the issue.

Hope this helps.

Thanks and Regards

Hello Sunil

Please note if orange, or red, lights are flashing steadily, the problem might be with your ISP. In such a case, you might have to contact your provider to fix your Wi-Fi issues.

In addition to this we suggest running network troubleshooter and also ensure wireless hardware is enabled and there is no interference between the router and your device. Moreover, try moving closer to the wireless base station/router and see if the network appears in the list after a while.

To run network troubleshooter follow these steps:

1. Press Windows + S and in the search bar type Network Troubleshooter.
2. Select Identify and repair network problems.
3. This will open Network Troubleshooter. Follow on screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.
4. Restart the modem. Now try to connect to Wi-Fi this should help.

Thanks and Regards

My wifi network suddenly is not visible in my phone or laptop or any other device. I have tried everything, checked my phone for any problems, switched off my wifi router and switched it on again but it’s still not working. It was working fine but suddenly the wifi stopped working and I could see red lights and then i switched off and switched on the router and after that it stopped showing its name on any device.
